Fairfield Township CommUNITY Day

 
October 4th; Raindate October 11th
 
Parade kicks off at 10 a.m. starting at Main Street and Rockville Road in Fairton; follows Route 553 to the Municipal Building on Fairton-Gouldtown Road where there will be a host of fun and educational activities from 11 am until 4 pm.  Competitive sports contests include 3 on 3 Basketball, Horseshoes, Bocci Ball and Double Dutch.  Trophies will be awarded to the winners.  Fire up your grills because we are having a cook-off to crown a King and a Queen of the grill.  Pick your favorite grill item and we will pick the winners.  It promises to be a fun-filled day for everyone.  Come out and either compete or cheer on the sports, enjoy good food, browse around the displays, meet old friends and make new one.  To enter the parade or any competition contact the Town Hall at 451*9284; the Senior Center at 451-9284 ext 121; or the Recreation Committee at 451-9038.  Cut off for signing up had to be changed to September 15th so call today!!

    Planning/Zoning Board Engineering Services:  Accepting proposals until September 3, 2008 for Planning/Zoning Board Engineering Services.  Complete RFP is available at Township Municipal Building or by contacting Township Administrator, Rick DeVillasanta at (856) 451-9284 ext 106.
 
    Storm/Flood Water Engineer Services:  Accepting proposals until September 3, 2008 for Storm/Flood Water Engineer Services.  Complete RFP is available at Township Municipal Building or by contacting Township Administrator, Rick DeVillasanta at (856) 451-9284 ext 106.
 
All Engineering positions have the following minimal qualifications:
 
    -P.E. Licensed in the State of New Jersey
    -At least 7  years experience with municipal work
    -Inspection Staff
    -Cannot represent any other interest or clientele associated with Fairfield Township
    -Must be acceptable in court as an expert witness

ATTENTION:    ATV OWNERS

Township Ordinance stipulates that ATV'S are not allowed on Public Property or Highways. Summonses will be issued with penalties starting at $250.00.
